Mary McLaughlin, M.S. SpEd; Ma-TESOL

When Mary was young she struggled to love the idea of formal education, but learning through play was a whole different thing! As she progressed from preschool through her high school years, schooling became progressively less fun because it was so textbook dependent.  

After graduating college and entering her career as a teacher, Mary worked hard to make sure her teaching style delivered fun for ALL student learning styles. For her, that meant more play-based and experiential learning opportunities. It is her belief that when kids are engaged and joyful, acquisition of knowledge and social skills come naturally.
